In order to continue our studies into the economic situation of literary translators in Europe CEATL is currently preparing its second major survey of the working conditions and the income of European literary translators. In a first phase we are asking our member associations to hold their own survey in their country/region, for which they can use (translate, adapt) the model questionnaire provided by CEATL (download in English (http://www NULL.ceatl NULL.eu/restricted/docs/Questionnaire_associations_2011_en NULL.pdf) or French (http://www NULL.ceatl NULL.eu/restricted/docs/Questionnaire_associations_2011_fr NULL.pdf), members only). The results obtained in this way can then be used to complete the renewed CEATL questionnaire that our member associations will receive in mid-March.
The working conditions report is sponsored by the Dutch collecting society, LIRA (http://www NULL.lira NULL.nl).
