At the Centre for Translation Studies of the University of Vienna a tenure-track professorship in the field of Literary Translation (full-time position) is to be filled.

From the job announcement:

‘Throughout history, literary translation has played a central role in transcultural interaction processes as well as the emergence and consolidation of literary systems. The creation of a tenure-track position in this field, which comprises a diversity of genres ranging from poetry to novels and short stories and to children’s literature, comics and plays, is designed to foster and intensify the investigation and teaching of literary translation in its social, cultural, aesthetic, cognitive and economic dimensions at the University of Vienna.’
