For the eighteenth year in a row, the Turin International Book Fair is organizing a number of activities of special interest to translators, under the title ‘AutoreInvisibile’.
From Thursday 18 May to Sunday 21 May 2017, translators, publishers and writers will participate in seminars and discussions on current issues in literary translation. The main event is the series ‘The writer and his double’, where six authors, María Teresa Andruetto (Argentina), Daniel Pennac (France), Luis Sepúlveda (Chile), Annie Ernaux (France), Jenny Erpenbeck (Austria) and Chris Bachelder (USA), will be engaged in a dialogue with their Italian translators.
