At the AGM in Berlin (June 4-7, 2014) the working group on ‘Training and Education in Literary Translation’ presented two documents showing the results of a major research survey conducted between 2009 and 2014, namely the Final Report on Training in Literary Translation in the member countries of CEATL, and the General Recommendations on Training in Literary Translation, which were adopted by the General Assembly.
The Final Report and the General Recommendations should provide a basis for fruitful and enriching discussions and help to maintain / improve the quality of training in Literary Translation.
The recommendations are available here (http://www NULL.ceatl NULL.eu/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Courses_in_literary_translation-General_recommendations NULL.pdf).
The final report will be published on the CEATL website from October 1, 2014.
