The Robert Bosch Foundation and the Literary Colloquium Berlin have been inviting translators of German literature to international workshops and large meetings since 2004. Co-operation with the Goethe Institute, the S. Fischer Foundation and TRADUKI has made it possible to arrange a meeting in 2012 for up to 40 participants from all over the world. This meeting, ‘In times of decreasing light. German literature updated’ is taking place in Berlin and Leipzig from 11 to 18 March, 2012.

Up to 40 selected translators of German literature will have the opportunity, during a one-week translators’ meeting, to become acquainted with current developments in German contemporary literature and to get into contact with authors, publishers, and critics and colleagues from other countries. Professional translators from German can react to the call for applications (http://german NULL.traduki NULL.eu/leseprobe/pdf/81_ausschreibung NULL.pdf) by filling in the application form (http://german NULL.traduki NULL.eu/leseprobe/pdf/81_bewerbungsformular NULL.doc).
