“Dall’italiano al mondo” intends to become the annual meeting of all translators of Italian literature and aims at creating a network to support the spread of Italian books abroad.
The conference will offer translators the chance to attend free specialised seminars and to get in touch with Italian publishers, agents and writers.
“Dall’italiano al mondo” is an event part of the AutoreInvisibile, the program of professional meetings on literary translation held at the Salone Internazionale del Libro and curated by Ilide Carmignani.

18:45 p.m. The proposal of the literary translator, Katherine Gregor, Carlos Gumpert, Verena von Koskull. Moderates Mattia Caratello.
19:45 p.m. Closing of the conference, Ilide Carmignani (l’AutoreInvisibile – Salone Internazionale del libro di Torino)
After the panel, participants will be provided with illustrative material and contacts.
The conference is open to all translators of Italian literature.
