The Lithuanian Literary Translators’ Association has issued a public appeal, expressing concern over the Russian military aggression in Ukraine and its possible spread to elsewhere in Europe, solidarity with the Ukrainians struggling to maintain their independence and territorial sovereignity, and respect to Russian people who dared protest against the actions of the leaders. The appeal urges colleagues and “people of arts and culture around the world” to lobby their governments so that the Russian military aggression in Ukraine does not remain unnoticed and unpunished.
